Independent Contractor Agreement - IT
DESCRIPTION:
This agreement is outlines the duties of an independent
contractor in the provision of technology related services.
Persons or entities who hire a contractor to perform
technology related work or create certain intellectual
property need to have a written agreement with the party
providing the services, otherwise the law may deem the
works created by the developer/contractor, to be the
property of the developer/contractor. The party paying
for the work will then only receive a license to work
but no actually ownership rights. This agreement can
help prevent such an unfortunate event from occurring
and will also prevent other misunderstandings between
the parties.

Persons or entities who hire others to provide services
related to technology and especially software/technology
development services.
